Pop Evil Debut “Torn to Pieces” Video and Announce Co-Headlining Tour

PE-headerTo celebrate Torn to Pieces, their third single going top 5, Pop Evil have debuted a brand new music video for the track, directed by long time director Johan Carlén.

The song deals with the loss of loved ones, something everyone is bound to go through. “Digging up the past can be very difficult,” says vocalist Leigh Kakaty. “Losing someone close to you has a healing process, and I choose to do it through this video.”

Pop Evil – Torn to Pieces:

Fans have been pouring out their support via an Instagram campaign the band set up last month. Pop Evil encouraged fans to upload their own photos depicting what the song means to them by tagging the photos with #petorntopieces.

Since its launch, the collection is ever growing and has far surpassed the band’s expectations. Kakaty continues, “It makes me happy that this song is helping people like we hoped it would.”

PPPop Evil have enjoyed quite a bit of success surrounding their latest LP Onyx. Deal With the Devil is their latest single to go all the way to #1 on the Active Rock charts. Trenches was the first track on the LP to hit #1 and is currently slotted to serve as the theme song for the Pittsburgh Penguins during the upcoming NHL Playoffs.

With Torn to Pieces quickly creeping up the charts, the band is on the verge of landing three number one singles for the first time in their decorated career.
