Melvins, Boris – Summit Music Hall – Denver, CO
It got a little loud in Denver Monday night when not one, but two experimental rock-metal-sludge veterans took over Summit Music Hall. The occasion was the ‘Twins of Evil’ tour. The Melvins were marking their 40th anniversary and as singer Buzz Osbourne put it “what better way to celebrate that unlikely milestone than by setting off on the tour with our friends, Boris.” Both bands played iconic albums front to back. And likely left more than a few ringing eardrums in their wake.
