THE DISCO FRIES TEAM UP WITH GREAT GOOD FINE OK FOR RETRO INFUSED SINGLE “MOVING ON” VIA ENHANCED MUSIC

Fresh off the release of their summery tune “Reckless,” The Disco Fries have teamed with Brooklyn synthpop duo Great Good Fine Ok on their retro infused single “Moving On.” Shimmery synth patterns and a funky melody are enhanced by heavenly signature falsetto vocals to create a heart-felt ambience fit for anywhere from the dancefloor to late-night drives. The single comes ahead of Great Good Fine OK’s scheduled performance at Billboard’s Hot 100 Festival next week, and is poised to be the quintessential anthem for your end of summer playlist.

The Disco Fries are no strangers to producing chart-topping hits with their breakout ‘Autonomous’ EP, supported by the likes of Billboardand MTV, in 2015 recruiting the likes of 311‘s Nick HexumRaine Maida of Our Lady PeaceBreathe Carolina & Hope Murphy to create a timeless body of singles that would leave listeners feeling refreshingly nostalgic during the peak of the electronic dance music craze. The duo would go on to produce chart-topping hits like 2015’s “Stars Come Out” with RUNAGROUND, which has achieved almost 7 million streams on Spotify alone, and 2016’s “Born Ready,” with the Halogen edit achieving 10.4 million combined streams. Their cross-over success has awarded them a global fan base and official remixes and collaborations with the likes of TiestoFatman ScoopIcona PopDuke Dumont,Jack UAzealia Banks, Tommy Sunshine, and more. The duo shows no signs of slowing in 2017 with their forthcoming EP due out later this Summer.

Is it possible to be nostalgic for the future? Brooklyn synthpop duo Great Good Fine Ok met one evening in 2013 and by the next morning had written their first song together, “You’re the One for Me,” a gauzy, heart-thumping anthem that hit #1 on Hype Machine twice in one month and instantly established the group’s sound with Jon Sandler’s dancefloor falsetto soaring over Luke Moellman’s lush post-Space Age production, the perfect soundtrack for retrofuturism. In the past three years, GGFO have performed shows supporting acts ranging from Tove Lo to X Ambassadors to Penguin Prison and have embarked on four major US tours with Betty WhoJoywaveMagic ManVacationer, and Panama Wedding, with four songs reaching #1 on Hype Machine and their single “Take It or Leave It” surpassing ten million plays on Spotify.
