King Diamond and Overkill Keep it Loud and Menacing at Mission Ballroom
I’m always a little sad when Halloween is over. But as luck would have it, a dark and spooky evening was in the cards a few weeks later at Denver’s Mission Ballroom when King Diamond brought his Saint Lucifer’s Hospital Tour to town. Set in an ominous 1920’s hospital/asylum, the black metal veteran clutched his makeshift bone cross mic and made his way through many an octave and macabre lyric. A few of the highlights of the evening included “A Mansion of Darkness,” “Welcome Home,” “Masquerade of Madness” and of course, “Abigail.”
