Web-Based Entertainment Platform StageIt and The Roxy Theatre Announce “StageIt Rocks the Roxy” Contest

ARTISTS PLAYING STAGEIT SHOWS ON ANY TUESDAY IN JULY 2013 CAN ENTER FOR A CHANCE TO PERFORM AT THE LEGENDARY ROXY THEATRE ON THE SUNSET STRIP

Stageit, a web-based platform that enables artiststo easily create paid live shows directly from their laptops, has partnered with The Roxy Theatre to offer one lucky act the opportunity to expand their fan base even more – with an opening slot at the world famous Roxy, located on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood, CA.

Any artist who plays a Stageit show on any Tuesday in July 2013 can enter the “Stageit Rocks The Roxy”contest by emailing their show link to the Stageit judges at roxy@stageit.com. Stageit’s staff will check out the entries and they will pick their top five favorite performers at the culmination of all five Tuesdays. The bookers at The Roxy will take it from there, selecting the winner and offering them a selection of available dates.   Getting to this dream gig is easy – Stageit will provide free round-trip air travel to Los Angeles for the artist(s) who perform in the winning Stageit show.
