NEAL SCHON Electrifies Fans with Epic “Star Spangled Banner” Performance at Las Vegas Raiders vs Chicago Bears NFL Game!

Football fans at the Las Vegas Raiders vs Chicago Bears NFL game at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, NV were supercharged, on Sunday, with a massive rendition of “The Star Spangled Banner” by iconic JOURNEY founder and guitar legend NEAL SCHON. Marking the first time that the “Star Spangled Banner” has been performed on electric guitar at the new stadium, SCHON’s performance, wielding his custom IHush Lady M Strat, pumped up the crowd for the exciting hometown match-up that saw the team’s first game with fans inside the stadium since the team moved to Las Vegas.

Flanked by a pair of Marshall stacks and joined by his pedalboard, the Journey founder launched into a faithful run-through of the anthem’s iconic opening motif…

Owing to the stadium’s acoustics, Schon’s sound is decked out with a monumental natural reverb, and is further enhanced by some customary plunges on the whammy bar and super-tight vibratos.” – GUITAR WORLD

NEAL SCHON and JOURNEY have also announced that they are returning to Las Vegas for a new residency at the Theater at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, for AEG Presents The Ultimate Journey Experience.
