Marc Rebillet – Red Rocks Amphitheatre – Morrison, CO

Not much phases Marc Rebillet. A fact that was especially apparent when the King Loop Daddy played his second October show at Red Rocks Thursday night (almost a year to the day after his first). The temperature never cracked 40, drizzle came down in sheets and when the lights promptly went down at nine, a voice rang through the air letting everyone know they were facing the wrong way.

“You’re looking in the wrong place!”

“I’m up here motherfu@kers!”

And with that, a very shiny and energetic Rebillet started making/bounding his way down seventy rows. Once his feet hit the stage, the show was off and running with a trademark improvisation he fittingly called “It’s Cold.”

Rebillet’s energy never waned as he hopped back and forth between his makeshift bouncy castle DJ station and the crowd. Dance anthems, comedic interludes and even some musings about quantum physics made their way his performance. Much to the delight of a bunch of chilled and soggy fans, Rebillet closed the night out with a couple favorites, “Girls Club” and “I’m a Flamingo.” Check out our photos of the evening below:
