Kaiser Chiefs in Louisville! Just because we have to miss it, doesn’t mean you should!!

In a sad turn of events, we won’t be able to make the Kaiser Chiefs EPIC show at the intimate 900 capacity Mercury Ballroom in Louisville, KY. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be there though!! Playing only a handful of US dates, this tour is one you don’t want to miss. We are totally bummed!

If you aren’t familiar with Kaiser Chiefs (Shame on you! Ha!), here’s a few good reasons to make the show: Leeds based, Kaiser Chiefs are one of the most successful rock bands of the last decade. They have released 5 albums which have amassed millions of sales worldwide. Ricky Wilson, the band’s front-man, is currently a coach on the UK’s version of the wildly popular, TV show The Voice, alongside Will.I.Am, Kylie Minogue & Sir Tom Jones which airs there on BBC ONE.

Back on April 1st, 2014, the band released their fifth LP Education, Education, Education & War on ATO Records. The collection features single “Coming Home,” which hit No. 1 on the U.S. Alternative Specialty Radio charts!

Kaiser Chiefs – Coming Home:

While they were in LA in February 2014, Last Call With Carson Daly came out to tape their sold out show at the El Rey. You can check that out here.

Praise for Education, Education, Education & War:

Full of frothingly pissed-off working-class British rock, with shades of glam, pub rock, the Jam’s lefty-mod broadsides and Oasis at their most soccerhooligan-y.” – David Fricke, Rolling Stone

Education, Education, Education & War offers those in the market for good rock music something like optimism; we should care because a real rock band might make it onto the charts in this otherwise One-Directionless One-Republic of Imagined Dragons.” – Forbes

Its DNA is spliced from the likes of Futureheads, Art Brut, and Pulp, and it charges forward with spittle-lipped anger and propulsion, ultimately sounding like it could inspire a mosh pit at any point from the turn of the millennium until now.” – Consequence of Sound

a raging success”-Alternative Press
