The Arbitrary Release Guitar Shredding Video “As Colors Bleed Through”

New Orleans, LA Instrumental Progressive Metal artists The Arbitrary have released the video for As Colors Bleed Through, the newest single off their debut EP Entropy.

We felt that As Colors Bleed Through was the perfect song to sum up The Arbitrary because it really showcases the different facets contained throughout our record “Entropy”. By shooting this video out in the wilderness, we were able to simultaneously capture the emotions contained within the song as well as the energy exerted at our live shows. -Jeffrey Fisher Guitarist

Founded in 2015 by Jeffrey Fisher and Adam Sauter, New Orleans natives The Arbitrary stormed onto the progressive metal scene with a fresh sound and a driven mindset to bring their music to the masses. Borrowing from their influences in IntervalsERRA, and Dream Theater, the instrumental duo seamlessly traverses the world of contrast, often combining fierce, low-tuned guitars and ambient soundscapes.

In the summer of 2015, guitarist Jeffrey Fisher released a homemade demo of Transient Nature, which garnered local acclaim and landed The Arbitrary on opening slots for Tides of Man, Yvette Young, and WRVTH. Always the band to capitalize on an opportunity, they began recording in the Winter of 2016 with Jonathan Dolese (Shores of Acheron, Brother Wolf) at KonKrete Studios. The debut effort, Entropy, was the end result.

“They deliver a high octane, shred worthy Progressive Metal sound that’s hard to deny. It’s easy to envision them in the same echelon as bands like Polyphia  and Divine Realm,” says Mike Stahl of The Circle Pit, and this high octane energy that The Arbitrary exudes is readily apparent in their live performances as well. Having only two members, the chemistry between Jeffrey and Adam on stage transformed into a tangible reputation in the regional scene that lead to opening slots for TraitorsBloodline, and Morningside.
